This week we worked on mindset and what we have to do to have a growth mindset. If you give up easily and say you cant do something you have a fixed mindset, if you try and fail but try again you will have a growth mindset. this is what we did.

Inner Peace

I wrote on my peace thing is Family because i love my family, Pets because they keep me from being alone, Joy because i'm happy all the time, Sport because i'm thank full for all the sport that I play, Friends because they keep me company and ask if i'm okay when i'm sad.

I'm strong at physical and I could work on Mental because I get angry most of the time.

What is Emotional literacy? Emotional literacy is when you learn about emotion to booost your emotion and talking about the differnt types of emotion. Our first task was to sort the words into plesant, not plesant, energy and non energy. Our second task was we had to fill in this table. This is what I did.

Our goal this week was Select from a wide range of genre when reading independently.

 Top Team Idea

For maths we need to make a idea that top team. My idea was you have to work out the area of a cube and if you get it wrong you have to get sprayed by the hose. If you get it right you get 5 points for your team. If they need one more person they call them and help them out so then you can finish faster. The losers get sprayed by the hose. 

Diary of an AFL Legend

Reading W6 T2

For Reading this week we had to choose what kind of book out of Graphic Novel or Short Story and find it out of the library. I choose a short story/comic. First we had to read it and then we had to make a story web about it and I choose Diary of an AFL Legend. The story was about Marcus not being good at sport and then Spencer came and said you should try AFL and then they got Marcus into the team that Spencer was playing in and the people in that team was making fun of him because he isn't that good that sport.

I used google drawing for my work. We had to make a kowhaiwhai pattern and show that we understand Reflection, Rotation, Translation, Enlargement.

new skate park

 I did a skate park because all the other skate park are get old and you cant go in the rain, but this one you can because it has a roof. It's bigger so more people can go and it not so crowded and so people can do more tricks. Reading Create. I would put it in Hagley park around the oval.
